Hello and welcome to the kitchen!
I spend a lot of my time cooking, and in the process have come up with some recipes I’m fairly proud of, so I figured I might as well share them with the world. This blog is my space to do that. I’m not going to philosophize too much here — I mostly save that for my other blog — but I do have some personal philosophies that shape my approach to cooking.
Simply put, I believe in the affirmation of life — in saying “yes!” to existence, and in cultivating love for the world, even with all its imperfections. Naturally, this extends to food. As someone with multiple food intolerances (gluten, dairy, soy, and corn, in case you’re wondering), it would have been easy for me to see my dietary restrictions as a loss, but I’ve chosen instead to see them as a challenge and an opportunity for creativity, and to wholeheartedly embrace the things I can eat instead of lamenting over the things I can’t. I believe that every meal can be an occasion for joy and celebration, whatever one’s diet. My goal with this blog is to share this joy with you by publishing delicious, wholesome recipes that are accessible to as many people as possible
Updates are every other Sunday.
